  Magimix fryer came to the top. However, after reading several negative reviews about this on Amazon.co.uk, I began to doubt my choice. Both of these reviews highlight the serious fault; poor calibration.
  
  Later, I got a new version of the same fryer Pro 500. I took my chances and bought one.
  
  Oh Boy! This was to be the awesome machine! The working thermostat, timer and applied calliberation.
  
  The only criticism is that the British model is available to cover with a built-in filter, such as France does.
  Reviews of Magimix 11606 Pro 500 4. 0-liter deep fryer (Kitchen & Home) I decided to bite the bullet, invest in a deep fryer and proper fish 'right' and making chips. The Magimix Pro 500 looked the part and, of course, the Magimix reputation was an easy solution. I wish now that I looked a little 'deeper. Then realized I could not reach the magic 190 steps necessary to fry properly so, in fact, not deep fryer, deep fat thingy a few. Indeed not even reach the maximum of 180 degrees shown on the control knob. I tested it with a real thermometer and jam cooks more than I could find out it was 170 degrees. I got to cook battered fish and chips but they were the type that all known fryer crispy be able to provide.
  
  I wish now I had invested my money in a frying basket and fry stuck doing relatively the old fashioned way. I wish anyone who wants to fry thermometer advice with dignity and avoid this product. Just be careful, at least not cause Magimix on a chip pan fryer so be very careful if you do it the old fashioned way with a thermometer.
